Blanco was founded in 1925 by Heinrich
Blanc, who dedicated his life to the basic principle of delivering
products of the highest quality. From humble beginnings as a producer of
galvanized copper hot water bottles, the company quickly established a
reputation for innovative design and unsurpassed attention to detail. |

In the Fifties, BLANCO was one of the
first companies to recognize the potential and advantages for kitchen
sinks manufactured with stainless steel. This proved to be the major
breakthrough for the company. Soon, BLANCO was renowned for their design
and quality in Europe and beyond. In 1963 the one-millionth sink was
manufactured. By 1994, 25 million sinks had been produced. |

Throughout the years, BLANCO has
continued to revolutionize the kitchen's food preparation and cleanup
area. In the Eighties, the company was the first to manufacture colored
sinks made of composite materials under the brand name of Silacron.
Today, this process has become a generic concept. |
